Mama was found along side a river bank by a man.  He could tell she was pregnant so he brought her home to care for her.  The man contacted SoCo and arranged to transfer Mama and her pups to the rescue when the time was right.  All Mama's pups have been adopted and now it's her turn.  She is a friendly and mellow girl.  She has not been kenned with other dogs so we don't know how she will do with other dogs but she does have a mild, gentle disposition.  She will likely need some house training.  She did lose and eye but the vet has assured us she is doing fine.  Surgery to close it up maybe an option in the future.  

Mama has had challenges and now it's her time to have a home!

She is spayed and has received all vaccines, de-worming and has been started on monthly preventatives.  Tested heartworm negative.
