Meet P.J., a Border Collie mix who is slightly over a year old. She came to our rescue after being found as a stray along a dirt road, apparently left there to survive on her own.

PJ is a very friendly girl who gets along great with other dogs and is very friendly to people. She seems to have never met a stranger and loves to play. PJ appears to be very smart but does need training to bring out her full potential. She will need further work on her house training but has made some progress in her time with us.

PJ has been fully vetted, including receiving all of her first year vaccinations and recently getting spay. She is heart worm free and has been kept on a monthly preventative since coming to us.

PJ will do very well in any type of home situation. She could be the only dog or live with other dogs and she will do well with children too. We're not sure how she'll be around cats but has shown no aggressive behavior in her time with us. She is a very active dog and will need a home where she can run and play.
