Zeus came to us when his former owner started college was unable to take him along.  All we can say is she must be missing the fella because he is one friendly love pup!

 

He is very alert, very sweet, and loves attention. He loves to cuddle and lay in your lap. His former owner told us he used to love to cuddle with the family's i 86-year-old grandmother! He's gentle, loving and would make a great pet for anyone wanting a laid back best friend.

 

 Zeus is also great around children and other dogs. He used to live with an Australian Shepherd and since coming into rescue he has adapted well with all the other dogs. He's a little nervous meeting new dogs at first, but he does warm up to them.

 

Zeus is great on a leash and he loves car rides! At home he will sit and "sing" to you and if you let him, he wil follow you everywhere; he's such a loyal dog! He is a bit overweight, but that does not deter him from being active and enjoying life.

 

He is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and house trained. He will always let you know he needs to go outdoors with a bark.  If he is left alone with no one to take him outdoors, he will not soil the indoors, but wait until someone gets home to walk him outdoors. When he gets familiar with his new area, he will go out, do his business then return to the door and bark to let you know he's ready to come back inside.
