Walker was found in June 2010 walking across a bridge on a very busy county highway - with no houses nearby, this boy was most likely dumped at only three months of age!.

Walker was very skinny, as the pictures show, and very tired from searching for food and a safe haven. But when I pulled over and got out of my truck, he ran towards me, ears just -flopping and he literally jumped into my arms. 

Walker has gained some weight, fattened up, grown a bit taller and is looking and feeling a lot better. He still has those comical ears which look like a nun's hat when he holds them at attention!

Walker is very friendly and playful and loves to play with other dogs his size/age. He'll make a great pet for a child that wants a friend to grow up with. He can climb a fence, so a home with an open area to play in, or one that wishes to keep him as an indoor pet, would be best. However he does walk and stay near his humans, and he LOVES to ride in a car as you can tell by his smiles in the photos!

 

Walker is currently undergoing house training and is doing very well. He is also crate trained.

He is up to date on vaccines,  he has been wormed and has started monthly heart worm preventatives. He will be neutered before his adoption.
