Lux is currently located at our rescue in Georgia. He is scheduled to be at our upcoming adoption event at Tractor Supply in Ringoes, New Jersey over the May 4-5 weekend. Lux and his five brothers were apparently abandoned in the Dublin, GA area. A man found them at the end of March along an isolated road when they were approximately 3 months old. The litter of six Hound mix pups were scared, hungry and in need of help. Once their required "stray hold" period had expired and no one reclaimed the pups, we were asked to take the puppies into our rescue. 

 

Lux and his brothers are very friendly, playful and get along great with other pups.  Despite being a little reserved when first encountering new people or new things, they are very inquisitive, eager to explore and quickly become accepting of such new things. They also have that laid-back, easy-going personality that is found with most Hound breeds, such as Basset Hounds, and are not overly hyper.  

 

As of April 22, Lux has received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccinations, de-wormings and other required vet care. His adopter must agree to having Lux neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide SoCo with verification of such. Lux will require all of his basic training.
