In January of this year, a man found a box of 12 puppies that had been discarded in the mobile home park where he lived. He and his wife took the pups to their home and gave the two month old pups the best care that they could. The pups were overloaded with worms, parasites and fleas, which left them without fur to keep themselves warm during the frigid January temperatures. Five of the young pups passed before we were able to take them in and a sixth passed shortly after coming to our rescue, but Pretzel and his five remaining siblings have all fully recovered from their ailments and are now healthy, happy and ready to find their new homes.

Pretzel has such a pleasant personality and is always eager to make new friends whether that be people or other dogs. His friendly, playful ways make him a great candidate for anyone looking to add a pup to their family and with proper training, would make an excellent companion to children as they grow. 

Pretzel has will have received all of his required first year "puppy" vaccinations, including his rabies and Bordetella vaccines, as well as scheduled de-wormings and monthly preventatives prior to being transported north. His adopter must agree to having Pretzel neutered once he reaches six months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Pretzel will also need to receive all of his basic training.
