Cookie and the nine other dogs lived within a small area enclosed by chicken wire and had absolutely no place that would provide them with shelter from rain and a nasty storm about to hit the area. SoCo Rescue President and CEO Scott Bennett was able to convince the man that his best option, at that moment, was to willfully surrender all 10 of his dogs to SoCo Rescue. We are calling this litter the Vidalia 10.

From the moment these dogs were lifted over the fencing at their former home, they have begun a new love affair with life! Where there was once hopelessness, there is now joy. And they  found that some people actually like to receive the love they have to offer. Thankfully, they are all very accepting of new people, should do fine in a home with responsible children and would love a nice big yard to run and play in.  They will need some work on house and leash training.

Cookie may be the smallest among this pack of dogs but she is also the most dominant. While she can often be found playing, eating and even snuggling up to her buddies, she can also get a little testy around them. Cookie's main interest in life is finding her human who she can exchange love with. She would be ideal for a retired/senior person who needs a very affectionate companion

Cookie has now been spayed, received an update on her annual vaccinations, de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. She also recently tested negative for hear worms during her vet examination.
