Irresponsible pet owners who don't have their pets spay or neutered don't just add to the overwhelming situation that all rescues face, they also affect the lives of those people who also have compassion on unwanted dogs and cats. Such was the case with a litter of pups whose mom (pictured) belonged to a family. The unaltered female dog was allowed to wander freely around the neighborhood and eventually became pregnant. This female dog, for whatever reason, felt much safer going to a neighbor's house and having her litter of 10 pups inside their garage. Knowing that the owner wouldn't provide proper care for mom or her pups, the neighbor convince the owner to let them keep mom and pups. They then contacted SoCo Rescue, offered to foster the pups until they were ready for adoption. Of course adding 10 pups and their mom to their home caused a lot of stress to the neighbor's daily life, but they remained committed to helping this litter of pups.

Hans is a sweet submissive boy. A bit timid at first, but he is a love as well. He is the one who had demodex around his eyes. The hair is coming back in nicely. His black head with white body and one black spot on his side is strikingly beautiful.

He gets along very well with his siblings and the other dogs at his foster home. Once in his forever home, his personal will shine.

Hans has now been neutered & received all three of his first year puppy vaccinations, been de-wormed and treated against parasites at the proper intervals, received his rabies and bordetella vaccines and been started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Hans will require all of his basic training.

*Siblings - Joan, John, Korg, Kylo, Raindrop and Toast
