Sailor Bay is currently in a foster home in NJ.  The good thing about being is fostered is that we can learn all about the dog's personality and give it lots of training. Sailor Bay is house trained and crate trained.  She is an affectionate, easy going pup and enjoys moderate walks and lots of playing especially tug and fetch. She is working on leash training and knows some basic commands including sit, stay, down, come and look.  Sailor Bay loves driving in car and cuddling on the couch!   She comfortably spends time alone and is always happy to see us when we return.  Most nights she has the zoomies and then crashes on the couch at 8pm.  

After living in a kennel, she put on some weight but living in a home with a yard and regular walks she has already lost weight!  She loves meeting people and kids everywhere we go from Home Depot to walking in the woods.  She likes other dogs that are calm and do not overwhelm her with energy, especially male dogs about her size.  In her GA foster home, she interacted with children and was great with kids of all ages, was not good with cats there but will need to tested in NJ.  She would be good for first time dog owners, fine as an only dog and do best in family with love and time to give as she adjusts to her new life.

A kind woman found Sailor Bay starving and abandoned at her place of work.  She was kind enough to take her in and fostered her for the past year for SoCo rescue.  Sailor Bay is a friendly and playful girl.  

 Sailor Bay has been spayed and fully vetted. She tested positive for heart worm and has undergone treatment so she is now ready to find her forever true home!
