If approved to adopt, a SoCo team member will contact you ASAP.*** It's a sad but common story. Sugar was dumped out of a car near the highway. The woman who witnessed this said Sugar ran as fast as she could after the car. She had to drag the poor thing out of the highway. The kind woman took her in until she could get her to SoCo Rescue. At first glance, you may think Sugar is just another young, female Bulldog mix pinning for a new home. But take a closer look at this former stray and you'll find that she's so much more. The first, and easiest thing you'll notice is that she is super-adorable. Sugar has that almost human appeal about her face: her eyes are full of warmth and emotion, her smile literally speaks to your heart. Sugar's physical beautify matches that which makes up her personality which is full of love and appreciation You'll quickly start to question what kind of person would ever abandon this very, very sweet girl. We've had the privilege of watching Sugar grow so much in her short time with us. While like a somewhat rowdy child when she first arrived last September, Sugar has matured right before our eyes. She's still very playful and a whole lot of fun, but she's started to settle into being a well-rounded dog. Sugar loves all people, young and old, male or female. She's also gotten along great with other dogs, but will do best around another dog that doesn't tend to be overly dominate. We've not yet cat tested her, so we can't really say if she'll do well in a home with a cat. Current on her annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other vet care, including having been spayed, Sugar also recently tested negative for heartworms and has been kept on her monthly preventative since becoming a SoCo dog. She will require additional house training. Don't miss out on your opportunity to add Sugar to your home, submit an application for her adoption today at socorescue.com
