Back in September, Tucker was found by the side of the road with a broken pelvis.  From the very beginning, he was gentle and friendly.  After a visit to the vet, he went into foster care where he healed from his injuries and made friends with the family and the other animals in the home.  See link below to watch Tucker's story.  Here's what Tucker's foster mom has to say:    He is VERY food-motivated and loves walks; he enjoys sniffing and exploring.  He knows basic commands and has learned our routine & schedule, which he really enjoys.  Tucker firmly believes he is a 12-pound lap dog; he is super-affectionate and loves to sit right with (or ON) his person, normally leaning against them and/or sitting on their foot to ensure maximum connection . Tucker adores children and does very well w/ my 10 year old niece and 3 year old nephew.  Tucker also does very well w/ dogs of all sizes and genders.  He is very vocal and will “talk” and “grumble” often to express himself to his people and other dogs; he always helps me correct the foster puppies if they go astray.  He has shown NO aggression at all, he just likes to talk.  Tucker is not recommended for homes w/ feline friends, as he has shown entirely too much interest in our kitties.

Tucker is current on his annual vaccinations, been neutered, de-wormed and treated against parasites. We've also started him on monthly preventatives and Tucker's recent parasite screening came back negative. A microchip will accompany his adoption.
