Chester’s foster mom writes….

Chester is a one and a half year old very chill, and very small, male kitty from Georgia. He’s super friendly, his foster mom says Chester has never hissed, even when meeting their other cats and dogs. He immediately fit right into the household and was soon napping daily with his new fur friends, though he loves to sleep at night in bed with people. Chester is dewormed, vaccinated, FeLV tested negative, and neutered.

Chester was once a stray in the Macon, GA area. He and a few other young cats, possibly his siblings, could often be seen romping and playing, enjoying life even though they were all homeless. But slowly, over a couple of weeks, all of the other cats disappeared, most likely meeting their fate after being attacked by dogs, hit by cars or some other means. The woman who would leave food and water for the stray cats set out to try and save Chester but found little help from local rescues who were all either at capacity or didn't accept cats. But a call to SoCo Rescue, who also doesn't typically house cats, led to the rescue of Chester.  Chester is a very friendly and well-socialized cat.

Since arriving at our rescue, He's been in a foster home that also includes dogs, which he enjoys snuggling up to one in particular. He's not only litter box trained, but also accustomed to being in a crate. He also has a very soft coat of fur. Chester has been fully vetted, including being neutered, and tested negative for feline leukemia. He's a very healthy, happy cat.
