Carla, her brother (Chubbs) and six other dogs from two different litters all came into our rescue as owner surrenders and from the same home.Their former owner had three female dogs that all had litters within months of each other, leaving the former owners really wishing they'd followed our advice and gotten their dogs spayed. In addition to taking in all of their puppies, SoCo Rescue will also be covering the cost of having all of their dogs spayed.

Carla is just a happy, playful bundle of fur who LOVES interacting with people. If he's not bouncing around playing with her brother or a staff worker, she's eagerly investigating all of the new things that come her way each day. Provide proper training for Carla and she'll make a great companion.

Carla is age current on her annual vaccinations, de-wormings and preventative care. We've also started her on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Carla spayed once she reaches 6 months of age and providing our rescue with verification of such. Carla suffered from hair loss, most likely due to fleas and demodex, but has since been treated and has regrown most of her fur.

Applications for the adoption of Carla should be submitted at
