Some may say that Hank came to our rescue by mistake, but we call it fate. Hank, a former stray, had been at the home of a woman who fostered for a couple of rescues, including SoCo Rescue. When it came time to relocate our fostered dog from the home, Hank was mistakenly transported instead of our dog. Instead of sending Hank back, we gained permission to add him to our family of rescues.  

Besides being physically strong, Hank is also very strong willed. His ideal adopter should be experienced in handling a dog that needs a "strong hand" approach to training. He does act defensively when meeting new people, so care should be taken when introduced to new people. He is also dog selective. But in the little training we've been able to offer him, he's made great strides and has proven himself to be very friendly. With the right person, this big, lovable fellow will make a great companion.

Hank has been neutered, received an update on all of his annual vaccinations and kept on his monthly preventatives.
