Grover is doing well in his foster home. Now about 4 years old, he has a mellow personality. He is being fostered with his mom and has gotten along fine with a puppy in the home. So far he is house trained and does not need a crate. He likes to play outdoors and can also be a couch potato. Not sure about cats and meet and greet required for other dogs. He is sweet and affectionate and is ready for his forever true home!

Grover came to SoC along with his brother Garland (who was adopted) and another dog. This trio of dogs were former strays who were given shelter and some care by the family that found them. As Grover and his companions became too large for their living quarters, the family also realized that they could no longer provide them with the time and care that they needed and decided to re-home them.

Grover would do well with any type of family and in any setting. He’s just happy to sit on your foot (that’s his favorite spot) and look at you in adoration.

 He also gets along great with other dogs but, on occasion, has been possessive with his toys. 

Grover has been neutered, received an update on all of his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and kept on his monthly preventatives. He may require house training.

**Grover tested positive for Heartworms and has been treated by the fast kill method.**
