Merlin and his litter mates came to our rescue as owner surrenders. The owner of Merlin's mom is a relative of one of our team members and basically abandoned her dog at the home of our staff member. Once the pups were old enough to be weaned from their mom, we not only took the pups in, we also had the mom spay (the owner will not relinquish ownership of the mom dog). Merlin's mom is a bulldog mix, we're not positive of the breed of his father.

Merlin is a very happy, well-socialized pup. He's playful, friendly and full of energy. His eagerness to be friends with everyone he meets makes him an excellent choice as a family companion.

Merlin is age-current on all his first year vaccinations. He's also been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adopter must agree to having Merlin neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. He will require all of his basic training.
