Jerry and his brother, Tom, came to our rescue as owner surrenders. The brothers were scared and confused at first, more so Jerry, but both quickly found lots of love and attention being given to them by the SoCo Rescue staff. 

While his brother has a very outgoing and wide open personality, Jerry tends to be a apprhensive while getting to know someone. Still, he is very playful, highly intelligent and, it's easy to tell, very interested in making new friends. He'll do best in a home with older children/less commotion and should thrive very well if adopted separately from his brother. He'll make an excellent choice for anyone looking for a small, highly active dog.

Jerry has been neutered; received an update on his annual vaccinations; de-wormed and treated against parasites and started on his monthly preventatives. He also recently tested negative for heartworms. Jerry may require additional house training.
