Ellie came to our rescue as an owner surrender. Ellie's ability to scale a fence led to her former owner having to surrender her.

As stated, Ellie is a very sweet, affectionate and well-mannered dog who simply loves her interaction with people. She’s shared a kennel with a couple of other dogs since being with us and has gotten along great with all of them. The only negative reaction we’ve seen from her involved attempting to introduce her to a new pup that was overly eager and jumping all over her, which was met with only a snarl and warning growl to the pup. We believe that Ellie will be fine sharing a home with other dogs and possibly even with cats. While she’s shown no interest in our house cat, Ellie’s not been fully cat tested as our house cat normally runs from dogs she doesn’t know and isn’t exactly cooperative with “cat testing” a dog.

Ellie has been spayed, received an update on all of her annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other such care. While she displayed excellent house training skills at her former home, she may need a refresher course once in a new home. She walks very well on a leash.
