***Adoption Pending!  Little Mamma is currently being fostered in Stockton, NJ.  She is the perfect house guest & is loving being out of the shelter & living in a loving home.***

Little Mamma and her puppies were found living in a culvert (drain) pipe in a neighboring town.  When rescue efforts began, traps and sheer luck was what eventually caught this elusive mom and her babies, who ended up being the hardest to catch. But eventually the dedication of those involved in her rescue were shedding tears of joy after mom and pups were all caught and delivered to SoCo Rescue!

At first, Little Mamma was standoffish and very unwilling to make new friends, but then she was still nursing her babies and she just went through a harrowing experience that included people chasing after her. But once her babies were weaned, giving Little Mamma time to relax, she quickly displayed her true friendly and very affectionate nature. She's also discovered that she does like having some doggie friends, although she can be selective at times. But her true passion seems to be earning the love and trust of every person she meets. 

Little Mamma has been spayed, received an update on her yearly vaccinations and de-wormings, been treated against parasites and even underwent the "fast kill" method of removing the heartworms that had invaded her body with no problems! Little Mamma appears to be in excellent health and would be a great companion for just about anyone, including retired/senior citizens. While she displays some signs of good house training skills, Little Mamma may require additional training.
