What do you get when you mix an English Pointer and a Bassett? Macy! She has the markings and face of an English Pointer, but the body and legs of a Bassett Hound. Adorable! Macy came to us from McRae, Ga where employees at a prison noticed her hanging around. Everyone thought she must have recently been abandoned or lost as she appeared heathly. She appears to have been spayed already, but we will consult with our vets. We estimate her age to be around 1 year old. She has started vaccinations and is already started on monthly heartworm preventative. She is very friendly to humans and other dogs. Her favorite past time?
