***Adoption Pending***

Darby and her eight siblings were abandoned on the side of a road and found there by a very kind-hearted lady. Unfortunately, the lady couldn't gather up the pups and take them with her, so she shared pictures of the pups and requested help on her social media pages. Around 11:00pm that same evening, SoCo Rescue was made aware of the situation and was able to immediately put a game plan into action. The pups had been left much earlier in the day and were found huddled up just a few feet from where the lady had first seen them. Darby and her siblings were now safe and on their way to SoCo Rescue!

There's no doubt that this adorable light-brindle colored cutie is, in fact, the clear cut alpha among her littermates. It's not that Darby is mean, just most likely the one who always starts the tussles and rough play, demands more attention and sometimes things that she gets to tax the food bowls of the other pups. But despite her youthful zeal, Darby responds very well to corrective commands, is quick to turn rough-housing into affection and loves to snuggle. She's also often found cuddled up with the same sibling that she enjoys aggravating the most. Give Darby a little basic training and this beauty will be the idea companion.

Darby has received 2/3 of her first year "puppy" vaccinations with the third being due on April 29, 2021. She's also been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly preventatives. Darby's adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and submitting verification of such with our rescue. Darby will require all of her basic training.
