Leehe and her four siblings came to SoCo as owner surrenders. Their former owner had intentions of using his female dog for breeding but found it difficult to sell the puppies because they "weren't full-blooded". After talking with the former owner and also offering to help with the needed vet care that his female dog needed, we were able to convince the man to have his dog spay and let her live a life of being loved as part of his family.

From the moment she arrived, Leehe has been a very outgoing, friendly and well-socialized pup. She was the first to accept our friendship and seems to be the pack leader among her litter mates. 

As 11/2/20 Leehe has received 2/3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree on having Leehe spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
