Keefer and his littermates came to SoCo Rescue as owner surrenders. Their former owner took in a stray dog who ended up getting pregnant. As part of our agreement to take the pups in, the owner has agreed to have his female dog spay. 

Keefer is happy being a middle-of-the-pack type of dog. Instead of trying to be the alpha dog, Keefer seems more focused on just enjoying being happy and playful with other dogs. He's also very well socialized towards people and should make a great family companion

Keefer has already received 2/3 of his first year puppy vaccines with the final round coming due on Nov. 26. He's also received his rabies and bordetella vaccinations, been de-wormed and treated for parasites. Keefer's adopter must agree to having him neutered by Feb. 1, 2021 and provide proof of such to our rescue. Keefer will need all of his basic training, which should come easy for this very smart boy
