Rusty and his brother, Willie, found themselves incarcerated at a local animal control. Both pups were scared and confused, not knowing why they were now locked away instead of at their home. No one claimed the pups, which was further proof that they were most likely abandoned by their former owner. When they reached our location, both were thin, infested with tapeworms and fleas.

Upon his arrival to the AC, Rusty had a very nasty gash on the top of his head. Since no one came to claim the pups as there's, we can only assume how and where Rusty's head became cut open. While you can still see the scar, Rusty hasn't displayed any lingering affects from his injury. In fact, Rusty is very friendly, playful and simply loves his interaction with people and other pups. He'll surely make a great companion for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.

Rusty has received an update on his yearly vaccinations, been de-wormed and treated against parasites and started on his monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
