Patience was among a number of dogs, 20 to be exact, that came to our rescue as part of a hoarding situation. A neighboring county's animal control asked for our assistance so that the owner, a disabled man, wouldn't have to incur a number of fines that he wouldn't be able to pay. When she arrived, Patience was nursing 6 young puppies but now that the pups have been weaned, Patience is ready to find her new home.

Patience was an excellent mom and even allowed us to interact with her puppies while she was with them. That trust and friendship continued once Patience was separated from her pups and she's gotten along great with her new kennel mate as well. She's a very affectionate, quiet and calm girl who loves to nestle up in the nearest lap she can find. Patience will be great in just about any home situation.

Patience has been fully vetted, kept on her monthly preventatives and recently tested negative for heartworms. She may need additional hose and leash training.
