When Brianna was found by a woman, she was a pitiful looking, in dire need of help young puppy. She was suffering from a severe case of demodex mange and looked to be starving. Her little body was hairless and covered with scabs from the mange and while Demodex mange isn't contagious,  her appearance probably caused most people just to shoo her away instead of trying to find Brianna some help. But this one woman took pity on Brianna, provided her with food and water and contacted SoCo Rescue immediately. It took a couple of days, but through the compassion of this woman, Brianna made her way into our rescue. When we shared her pics and story on our social media pages, Brianna quickly captured the hearts of a number of our followers and drew many well-wishers.

Upon her arrival and even while her body was in pain, Brianna immediately let us know that she greatly appreciated our help and wanted to be our friend. Now that she's healed from all of her ailments, Brianna is still a very friendly and affectionate girl. She loves to play, gets along great with other dogs and LOVES her belly rubs! There's no doubt Brianna will make a great companion to just about any home. 

Brianna has been spay, had her vaccines updated, de-wormed and treated against parasites. She's also been kept on her monthly preventatives which includes having received Bravecto, a three month flea/tick preventative that also aids in the treatment of demodex mange. She will need all of her basic training, which should come rather easy for this very smart girl.
