***Adoption Pending***

Bluto's former owner surrendered him and cited her "medical issues" as the reason for giving him up. When we met with the owner, it was apparent she had a dislike for Bluto (and any other animal) based off her comments. We were able to learn that Bluto (who was named Ikaia) spent  the majority of his time locked away in a small pen in the house with very little human interaction other than during feeding time. During the ride back to SoCo Rescue, Bluto initially seemed unsure of how he was supposed act when being petted, but by the time we arrived home, he was sitting in our laps and playing very nicely. 

Bluto is a super friendly fellow who thoroughly enjoys playing with other pups and people alike. His cute, wrinkly face is adorable, his personality will capture your hear and his comical mannerisms will leave you laughing! Bluto will need additional house/leash training but should excel rather quickly as he's a very fast learner. 

Bluto has been neutered, vaccinated, started on his monthly preventatives and de-wormed. He's a healthy, happy little fellow who will most likely be a large-sized dog once fully grown.
