***Adoption Pending & staying together**

Molly and Mitzi have been together most of their lives. While we are hopeful in finding a home where they can remain together, we will consider individual adoptions. Molly loves Mitzi and Mitzi finds comfort in her friend, Molly. Senior dog rescues are also welcome.

Molly and her friend, Mitzi, found themselves in need of a new home after their former owner passed away unexpectedly. Scared and facing an uncertain future, due mainly because of their age, these senior girls had to be wondering if their time on this earth was also about to come to an end. After receiving a call seeking help for these senior ladies, we gladly offered them a place to stay.

We can tell that Molly had to be a very friendly, outgoing girl in her younger days. Now a senior of 13 years, Molly still yearns for human contact but at a much slower pace. She's obviously accustomed to being handled but care needs to be taken when and if picking her up. She would be excellent as a companion for a retired/senior person who desires a very low-keyed dog.

Molly was spay prior to coming to our rescue. We've updated her vaccinations, administered de-wormers and resumed her monthly preventatives. Molly also tested negative for heartworms during her recent vet examination. Other than a slight ear infection, which has now been treated,  and the "normal" age ailments,, Molly appears to be in great health for a dog her age.
