Mathis, his siblings and his mother were all surrendered to our rescue by their former owner. The former owner failed to have her dog spay, which resulted in yet another litter of unwanted puppies in our area. To add insult to injury, the former owner later came back and asked if she could have one of the puppies back but we refused to even consider such.

Mathis seems to have the same wonderful and very friendly personality as does his mom (picture of mom is included). He's very playful but turns to mush once he starts getting belly rubs! With the proper guidance and training, Mathis will grow to be an exceptional companion.

Mathis has received 2/3 of his first year puppy vaccines and will be receiving both his rabies and bordetella vaccinations over the next week. He's also been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on his monthly preventatives. Besides needing all of his basic training, his adopter must also have him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue.
