***Adoption Pending***

We were contacted by a local animal control asking if we could help a man who had to relinquish ownership of one of his dogs. The man was moving and only able to take one of his dogs with him. Since the animal control was full, if they had taken Niviah in, they would have had to immediately euthanized her. Knowing that Niviah was a highly adoptable dog, the AC was very hopeful that we could help...which we were more than happy to do.

When she first arrived, Niviah was scared, confused and very uncertain of why she was in a strange place. But within a couple of days she started to display her true very friendly and playful personality. She's very people friendly and thrives on human contact, making her a great candidate as a family companion. She's gentle, sweet and has not shown any aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs. We're not positive of her breed but she appears to be a Retriever mix.

Niviah has now been fully vetted, included being de-wormed, treated against parasites and kept on her monthly preventatives. She tested negative for heartworms during her recent vet examination and appears to be in excellent health. Niviah's adopter should be prepared to offer additional training as we're not positive if she is house trained.
