**Adoption Pending**

Scottie, his mom (Scarlett) and his two siblings came to our rescue after their former owner surrendered them to us. The owner was financially and mentally unable to provide proper care for the pups but wanted to keep one pup because he had "grown attached" to the pup. Luckily, we were able to convince the owner that it was in the best interest to let all of the pups go with us, especially after a fourth pup had suddenly passed away after receiving a bump on it's head and the owner had no way to get the pup to a vet for examination.

With his very unique speckled color pattern, Scottie also can boast that he's the most outgoing, personable and smartest among his litter mates. Scottie's loves exploring and learning about new things almost as much as he does playing and having a good time. With the right training, Scottie could grow to be a very special dog!

Scottie has received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccinations, his rabies and bordetella vaccines, been de-wormed and treated against parasites. He's also been started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and has received a clean bill of health from our vet's office. His adopter must agree to having Scottie neutered once he reaches six months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue. Scottie will also need all of his basic training.
