Susie and her siblings were apparently left at a dumpster site in our area when they were approximately 10 weeks of age. The pups were thin, very hungry and in desperate need of a few good meals. Even worse, these pups were covered in so many fleas that it looked as if someone had poured a bottle of pepper onto their little bodies. It took three baths to remove the fleas. Other than a little thinning fur, Susie has made a full recovery from her nightmarish ordeal.  

While Susie was a bit hesitant at first of offers of friendship, once she started feeling better she took full advantage of our kindness. She's become just as friendly and personable as her litter mates and has shed any inhibitions that she initially had. Give this sweetheart proper training and guidance and she'll quickly become the best dog you've ever had!

Susie has now received 2/3 of her first year vaccinations, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and tapeworms twice and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Susie spay by Dec 1, 2020 and provide verification of such to our rescue. A microchip will accompany her adoption. Susie will need all of her basic training.
