**Adoption Pending**

While driving one day, a couple almost ran over a small puppy that was just sitting in the middle of a busy road. They quickly scooped up the tiny pup, got her to safety and contacted SoCo Rescue seeking help for the pup. We named this pup "Kayla" after the woman who saved the pup.

If you're looking for a well socialized, extremely affectionate pup then Kayla could be exactly what you're looking for. She is always willing to show her affectionate personality by snuggling up to you and giving gentle, soft kisses. She's very playful, smart and simply adorable. 

Kayla is available for adoption but will not be released to her new home until after July 31 as she is still receiving her basic vaccinations.  Prior to her adoption, Kayla will have received 2/3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines, rabies and bordetella vaccinations, de-wormed and treated against parasites. We've also started Kayla on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Kayla will need all of her basic training.Her adopter must agree to having Kayla spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
