Description:

When we first met Tinkerbell, she wasn’t doing very well. Her former owner had brought Tinkerbell and her brother, Tiny Tim, to our rescue seeking help as both pups were very sick. The pups seemed lethargic, didn’t want to eat or drink and kept throwing up anything that they did try to digest; all the signs of having contracted parvo. At first, Tinkerbell’s symptoms were more severe than Tiny Tim’s and he would comfort her during her really bad days. Once Tinkerbell got to feeling better, Tiny Tim took a turn for the worse and she repaid his kindness by becoming his comforter. This was just the first display of exactly how attached these two are and most likely created a stronger bond between the two. Of course the pair pulled through their scary and potentially deadly ordeal with flying colors and have made a full recovery.

Tinkerbell is a fun little ball of energy who knows exactly how to put a smile on your face. She’s very playful, personable and lovable. You’ll be amazed at how fast her little legs will carry her and how much she enjoys running. Her quickest move, however, will be in getting into your heart!

As of 6/29, Tinkerbell has received 2/3 of her first year “puppy” vaccines; bordetella and rabies vaccinations; been de-wormed; treated against tapeworms and parasites twice and started and kept up to date with her monthly preventatives. A microchip will accompany her adoption. Tinkerbell’s adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue. They must also be prepared to provide Tinkerbell all of her basic training.

Applications for the adoption of Tinkerbell should be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login)
