Zorro came to SoCo Rescue as an owner surrender through a rescue friend of ours. While we're not exactly sure why the former owner decided to re-home him, we were definitely happy to help find this little fellow a new home.

Zorro has that typical Chihuahua mentality: he can conquer the world but finds comfort in hiding behind his owner when a grasshopper spooks him! He isn't aggressive at all, plays very well with other dogs his size and simply loves the time he spends with people. Still, we think a home without small children would be best for him to avoid either accidentally causing harm to the other.

Zorro has now been neutered, had all of his vaccinations renewed and restarted on his monthly preventatives. He recently tested negative for heartworms and received a clean bill of health during his vet examination. He'll most likely need additional house training once in a new home.
