*Adoption Pending*  Electra is absolutely the cutest, spunkiest dog ever and would make an awesome addition to any family. She’s easy-going and makes friends everywhere she goes.
We’re hoping to find her special person so she can bring them as much joy as she brings all of us at the rescue.

When Electra came to our rescue, well over a year ago, she was near starvation, covered in fleas and had a number of open sores on her body. She had scratched her ears to the point that, even after a year, she still hasn't regrown all of the fur to them. She was also positive with heartworms. Despite her extremely poor health, Electra was very receptive and friendly to everyone she met and seemed to know that we were there to help her. Other than the small spots on her ears, Electra made a full recovery from her horrid ordeal and is now ready to find the loving home that she so deserves.

Electra has always been very friendly towards our staff and even the young children that she's met. She seems to get along great with most other dogs as long as they don't show aggression towards her. She adores receiving affection as much as she loves giving it and only wants to please her people.

Electra has now been fully vetted and kept on her monthly preventatives. Because of her extremely poor health when she first arrived, we treated Electra's heartworms using the Slow Kill method and she recently tested negative for heartworms. She may need some house training but has always been an eager and quick learner. A little patience and understanding will result in someone gaining a very best friend in Electra.
