**M'Lady will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Jan 4-6 weekend.**

M'Lady (sounds like "My Lady) was taken into our rescue after her former owner decided to give her up. The story we received was that M'Lady, formerly known as "Loca", was rescued from a local kill shelter by a local veterinarian  4 years earlier and given a great home with the best of care. When the veterinarian decided it was time to retire from her practice they decided to have this sweet girl euthanized if a home couldn't be found for her. SoCo Rescue was asked to help and we gladly accepted the task of saving M'Lady. Since space was limited at our rescue, M'Lady was boarded at our vet's office, which is where she gained her new name after the staff saw how sweet and "proper" this girl was.

M'Lady has proven herself to be very friendly towards people and other dogs. She was accustomed to living as an inside dog at her former home but may need a refresher course once in a new home. She's been kept up to date on all of her vaccinations, monthly preventatives and other such care. She's also consistently tested negative for heartworms.

M'Lady is very calm but also loves to run and play. She's never shown any aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs. While she's been around cats for the past 4 years and we think she will coexist just fine with them.
