**Obie will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Nov. 9-11 weekend.**

Obie was found as a stray by a woman in our area. He was just like so many other stray pups: thin, hungry and in need of some TLC. Since we were packed full at the time he was found, another rescue group offered to foster him until space opened at SoCo Rescue.

Obie is very friendly and playful, even getting along great with other dogs. But being a young male who recently was neutered, Obie does sometimes try to establish his dominance over other dogs. With proper training, Obie will be able to coexist with other dogs just fine as he has interacted with other dogs while with SoCo and the other rescue. Obie is very people friendly but due to his high energy level and need of basic training, we'd suggest a home without very young children.

Besides being neutered, Obie has received his yearly updates, de-wormed and started on his monthly preventatives. He recently tested negative for heartworms and appears to be in excellent health. He will most likely need some house training but should excel with proper guidance.
