**Taffy  is scheduled to be at our adoption event at Rosedale Mills in Pennington, NJ, over the April 13-15 weekend.

Taffy and her 7 siblings were born on Christmas day, 2017. Her former owner said the pregnancy of their female dog was an "accident", which typically does occur when a dog's owner fails to have them spay. When we were first notified that the owners wanted to surrender them, we were given a specific time frame to get the pups or the owner was "going to take them off somewhere". We quickly made room for all 8 of the pups to keep them from becoming discarded.

Taffy and her litter mates are all well socialized towards people. Taffy loves to romp and play with her siblings and also loves her interaction with people. While she is an energetic little pup, she turns to mush when being held in your arms. She's very smart, loves to play with her favorite toys and is even learning to play fetch! 

We did have the opportunity to meet Taffy's mom, an Aussie mix of medium size, but have no idea what breed the father was. We are assuming that Taffy will grow to be about 35lbs and close to the size of her mother.

Taffy has received all of her first year puppy vaccinations, de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and providing proof of such to us..
