**Nala will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills in Pennington, NJ over the Jan 12-14 weekend.**

On a chilly, rainy day this past November, a woman came across a female Bulldog/Shepherd mix on a deserted dirt road. When the woman stopped and looked closer, she noticed that the mom dog had 5 nursing pups tucked under her belly, trying to keep them warm and safe. One of those pups is this cutie, who we call Nala.

Once she was weaned, Nala and her siblings went to a foster home where they received a lot of attention from that family, which included their children. That helped Nala become very well socialized towards people and she remains that way now. 

Nala is very friendly, playful and full of energy. She loves playing with her siblings and other pups and while she's considered more so on the submissive side rather than the alpha, she can hold her own when playing with the other pups. Nala's great personality makes her an ideal candidate for just about any home situation and she should grow up to be a great companion to whoever adopts her. 

By Jan 13 Nala will have completed her first year puppy vaccinations, including her rabies and bordetella vaccinations. We've started her on her monthly preventatives. de-wormed and treated her against parasites as well. Her adopter must agree to having her spay by the time she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
