Description:

**Ida will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, in Pennington, NJ, over the Dec 15-17 weekend.**

Ida and her 9 litter mates came to our rescue as owner surrenders.

Despite being the calmest of her litter, Ida is still very well socialized towards people and other pups. We're not exactly sure of her breed mix as we never got to see her mom or dad and are only assuming that she is some sort of terrier mix. We were told that her mom was a "medium-sized" dog.

Ida's litter was named after successful people from the Gilded Age (the 1800's). Ida was named after Ida B. Wells:  an African-American journalist, newspaper editor, suffragist, sociologist, feminist, Georgist, and an early leader in the Civil Rights Movement.

As of Dec 8, Ida has received 2/3 of her first year puppy vaccines, wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly heart worm preventatives. She's still a few weeks away from being old enough to receive her rabies vaccine. Her adopter must agree to having her spay at 6 months of age and providing proof of such to our rescue. A microchip will accompany her adoption.

Applications for Ida's adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com
