**Half Pint is scheduled to attend our upcoming adoption event at Rosedale Mills, Penning, NJ over the June 16-19 weekend.**

Half Pint's former owner is a "backyard" breeder: someone who operates illegally and without any license or state inspections. If that person were to be inspected, she'd be shut down immediately and fined due to severe inhumane conditions. The inside of the kennels arenasty with waste, dirty water and food bowls and very little area for the dogs to move about or run and play. It was also wrapped completely with tarps so Half Pint and her kennel mates most likely didn't even know of the world outside their horrible prison.  

As did her siblings, Half Pint really enjoyed her first day at SoCo. Being able to run and play, have a nice, clean and safe place to live has made a great difference in her life. Half Pint is the most outgoing of her siblings and made friends with her new human caretakers really quickly. Given her warm, friendly personality, we' think that Half Pint will do very well in just about any home situation. 

 Half Pint has now been spay, updated all of her vaccines/wormings and even started on  monthly flea/tick/heart worm preventatives. She'll need some house and leash training but should do well with some understanding and patience
