Description:
Chico considers himself very lucky to be at SoCo Rescue and even alive today. His former owner was diagnosed with a breathing disorder and decided to place all 8 of his tiny Chihuahua's inside an unventilated storage building. Unfortunately, only 5 of them lived through the ordeal. Chico and his four friends were surrendered to SoCo by his former owner.

Chico, as expected, is a bit apprehensive of new people at first but will warm up after he realizes you're a friend. He will do best in a calmer, low commotion home as he tends to shy away from a lot of noise. Because of this and his small size, we wouldn't consider a home with smal children and think he'll do best as a companion to a retired or elderly person. Chico does seem to get along very well with other dogs. 

Since coming to SoCo Rescue, Chico has received all of his basic vet care, including being neutered. He tested negative for HW's and appears to be a very healthy dog.
