This ultra-friendly little girl is Cracker.  She was found as a stray by a family a few years ago. The family took her in, gave her a home and love, but never had her spayed.  Cracker's former family consisted of young children, which she seemed to adore.  Shortly after she had a litter of puppies, Cracker was surrendered to us.  We were told she got her name after the family's son noticed that she would eat acorns, cracking them in her mouth. So the young man starting calling her "Cracker".

Since coming to Soco Rescue, Cracker has been very friendly to the other dogs and people she's met.  She is a high energy girl and really loves to play.  She is very affectionate and loves to be by your side.  Cracker would make a great family pet. 

Cracker is current on all her vaccinations and she is spayed.  In July of 2014, Cracker tested positive for heart worms.  We treated her monthly with the slow kill method and on her recent vet visit on 1/8/16, we are very happy to say Cracker tested negative for heart worms.  Once adopted, Cracker will still need to be kept on a heart worm preventative.  Cracker is waiting to play with you and make you laugh.  If you can give him the loving home he deserves, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
